26 April 2010 Nosie Katzmann Just by coincidence I discovered a note in the credits of the album of Nosie Katzmann. Nosie is a singer/songwriter from Germany who had quite a bunch of Eurodance hits back in the 90s, e.g. "Mr. Vain" / "Inside Out" (Culture Beat), "More And More" (Captain Hollywood Project), "Love Is All Around" (DJ Bobo) or "Right In The Night" (Jam & Spoon). In 2008 he re-interpreted his biggest Eurodance hits on his acoustic album "Greatest Hits 1". Nosie dedicated the album to 3 late Eurodance producers; A nice coincidence finding this today, since it would have been Denniz' 47th birthday today... R.I.P. Dag Volle. |

01 April 2010 SHOCKING NEWS! HORRIBLE NEWS FOR MUSIC LOVERS ALL AROUND THE WORLD! MAX MARTIN, KRISTIAN LUNDIN & ANDREAS CARLSSON ANNOUNCE THEIR RETIREMENT FROM THE MUSIC INDUSTRY! After getting together in Los Angeles last weekend, originally planning to talk about future collaborations, the ex CHEIRON members decided to take a step back from making music! According to a press release from their agencies, Max Martin wants to spend most of his time around his family, while Kristian Lundin wants to extend his professional flying skills. Andreas Carlsson has already been pushing several fashion projects. He also announced to cancel (!!) his long awaited project DANDY due to complications with publisher companies, lasting for more than 2 years now. Judging from the reasons given, this step could have actually already been predicted for a long time, since Max was the only one of the ex CHEIRON members who never wanted to leave to L.A.. Things got quiet around Kristian Lundin for a long time already and we knew that he & John Amatiello were pushing their flying skills for a couple of years. Andreas has been active in the clothing business for quite some time aswell and was planning to release his own jewelery & clothing line, originally along with the DANDY project. We at cheiron-music.com are deeply shocked by these devastating news, but of course wish Max, Kristian & Andreas all the best for their indvidual futures! |

XS 23 Dec. 2008 J A R R Y S - Just by chance, have you ever wondered how it would sound like if Rami Yacoub sang a Madonna song?? ;-) That's no longer up to your imagination! Back in 1996 the crew at EZ Productions produced several singles for different dance projects. 2 of those songs were released under the name JARRYS, "Like A Prayer" and "Believe In You". Rami is featured on both singles singing the lead vocals! Another example for a project featuring Rami on lead vocals is a song named "Power" by House Of Commons. He also sings & raps on the song "Find My Own Way" by Rica feat. Rami, not to forget about his solo single "Sight For Sore Eyes". |
XS 22 Dec. 2008 H E A R S A Y - When I found out Jörgen Elofsson had co-written a song for a band named "Hear'Say" I of course assumed it was about the 2001' "Popstars" winning group from the UK. It turned out I was wrong... When I received the single from a Swedish CD store I was extremely surprised to spot a familiar face on the single cover - JÖRGEN ELOFSSON! He teamed up with fellow songwriter Pete James to form the duo "Hearsay" in 1996. They released a single with the title "Reasons" and were obviously planning to release an album with the title "The Whole Picture". Besides co-writing the song Jörgen also sings lead and backing vocals! After "Reasons" nothing was ever heard or seen of Hearsay - it's assumed Jörgen decided to focus on his songwriting career! Still a very interesting item that shouldn't be missing in any CHEIRON fan's collection! Further details here: |
22 December 2008 B.F.M.V. & Max Martin The UK metalcore band Bullet For My Valentine has recently released a deluxe edition of their latest album "Scream Aim Fire". The new version includes 3 bonus tracks, one of them being "Watching Us Die Tonight", co-written by Max Martin.

Make sure to check back tomorrow and the day after for the promised "solo project" surprises and on the 24th for the BIG FINAL! |

21 December 2008 N. Jonas / C. Perrelli Thought I'd quickly throw in 2 more discoveries before the promised solo project news! ;-) It's about a song named "Appreciate", co-written by Jake Schulze. The song has been originally released by Nicholas Jonas (of Jonas Brothers fame) in 2005 and has recently been re-released by Charlotte Perrelli in Sweden. Additional to that I found out that Perrelli also re-recorded another previously released CHEIRON song. It's "Gone Too Long" (co-written by Jörgen Elofsson), originally recorded by Gloria Gaynor. All details can be found here: |
XS 20 Dec. 2008 Discovery! - B.C.S. ...aaaaaand another two undiscovered songs! ;-) Both are co-written by Jörgen Elofsson and released by Swedish band Brandsta City Släckers, to be found on their 1999' album "En riktig man". The last CHEIRON song to be released in 2008 will most likely be "Utopia" by Danny from his upcoming album "Set Your Body Free". The record will be released on December 24th. "Utopia" was written & produced by Andreas Carlsson and is similar to "Only Wanna Be With You", Andreas' contribution to Danny's debut album in 2007. |

On the contrary to what it says on wikipedia I got my information from the data the record company provided to CD wholesalers in Germany today. Of course I can not guarantee that this information is final. Another surprise for CHEIRON fans should be that Britney re-recorded the song "Out From Under" (previously released by JOANNA on the Bratz O.S.T. last year). Joanna's version was co-produced by Rami Yacoub and therefore a CHEIRON song; Britney's version is produced by Guy Sigsworth. |
